Imagine: it's the late 1950's in London and there's an adventurous Jewish dance band who mix Yiddish songs and klezmer with musical influences that have been drifting in from the US - the great songs of the American Yiddish theatre - and from the Argentine dramatic tango styles. That's the cheerful conceit behind Chai For All's 'Mazl & Brokhe: Yiddish Song' set.

Marianna Moralis: vocals, David Mowat: trumpet, Knud Stuwe: guitar and Simon Leach: percussion
